Your photos, your music, your movies, your documents, and all your other files – they’re all important and they need to be protected against data loss accidents. Backblaze does just that. During the installation process, it will detect all your personal data, all the data that should be backed up. After the installation process completes, Backblaze will proceed to back up your important data.

Speaking about installing Backblaze, it is available for multiple platforms: Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, and Android. If you want to install Backblaze on your Windows PC, make sure it meets the following system requirements: 1GB of RAM, 5GB of hard disk space, 32- or 64-bit Windows edition, any edition from XP onward.

A setup wizard will help you install Backblaze on a Windows PC that meets the system requirements presented above. During the installation process, you will get to create a new Backblaze account or sign into an existing Backblaze account. During the installation process, Backblaze will analyze your drive and detect all the personal data that should be backed up to the cloud. During the installation process you will be informed that your first backup will take a bit of time to complete.

You will also be informed that you can access Backblaze from the system tray.

Double click the system tray icon and the Backblaze Control Panel will show up. From it you can manually launch the backup process, pause the backup, access several restore options, choose one of several supported languages, and open the Settings/Preferences menu. You can play with lots of options from this menu: schedule notifications, select the hard drives to back up, set up exclusions, view reports, and so on.

Right click the Backblaze system tray icon and you will be presented with a context menu that features the following entries: Backblaze Control Panel; Help; Check for Updates; Transfer Backup State; Restore Files; About; Quit.

Backblaze gives you unlimited storage space. Say that Backblaze will back up all the data stored on drive C. No matter how much data is on that drive, Backblaze will back it all up. Visit Backblaze.com, sign into your account, and you can view all backed up data, restore files, manage your account, and locate your computer.

Backblaze is free to use for a trail period of 15 days.

Backblaze automatically backs up all your important data. Your photos, your music, your videos, your important documents! Everything you care about is safely backed up online.
